Metafoodx Is Headed to IFMA COEX 2026

Updated: Mar 2

The Metafoodx team is excited to attend the Food Home Away from Home Association COEX Conference, taking place March 8–10 in Atlanta.

We will also be presenting on Sunday, March 8 from 3:00–3:45 PM in Chastain F–G, 6th Floor: Smart Kitchens: Elevating Operations with AI Intelligence.

This session brings together operators and technology leaders who are working to modernize foodservice operations without adding complexity.

Speakers include

  • Thierry Bourroux, VP of Customer Success at Metafoodx

  • Fengmin Gong, CEO and Co-Founder of Metafoodx

  • Jose M. Martinez, General Manager of Dining Services at Pomona College

  • Ken Toong, Associate Vice Chancellor of Auxiliary Enterprises at UMass Amherst.

Together, they will discuss how AI embedded directly into kitchen workflows helps reduce food waste by more than 50 percent, delivers 5–11x return on investment, and supports small-batch production, FIFO practices, and just-in-time cooking. The conversation will focus on practical deployment strategies and real-world results from enterprise and multi-site operations.

IFMA COEX is always a valuable space to exchange ideas and explore what is next for foodservice. If you are attending in Atlanta, we hope you will join us for the session and connect with our team.

We look forward to seeing you at COEX.
